Watching movies and documentaries by Discovery channel made on Indian Armed Forces such as Border, LOC Kargil, Paltan, Uri – The Surgical Strike, Bhuj, Veer, India’s Paratroopers-Earning the badge, etc. Reading about several missions of Indian armed forces such as Operation Meghdoot Operation Vijay, 2016 India–Pakistan military confrontation(Surgical Strike), Operation Safed Sagar, Operation Bandar (Air Strike), Operation Talwar, etc. in past and the bravery of our soldiers in this operations. The helping, calm, selflessness and aggressive (according to the situation) nature of officers like captain Vikram Batra, Major Mohit Sharma, Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, etc. have always motivated and inspired me to take defense as my career option I aspire to become an officer in the Indian armed forces. I am very much fascinated/influenced by the work and life of an officer and by the glamour of the uniform. It is the uniform that gives you the power and creates a difference between an Officer and the people in crowd. To achieve my goal I have started studying meticulously and diligently to make my dream an reality. After becoming an officer I want to carry out several anti-terrorism missions as much as possible even if it cost my life and after retirement I want to start an NGO which will basically working on providing food, education and shelter to the needy people of my locality.
